THE
FISHING
We
fish numerous areas of Lake of the Woods, depending on where you
are staying, daily weather conditions, and the fish species we
are pursuing on any given day. As an example, if we are muskie
fishing, we may fish Big Narrows or very close to Kenora. Some
excellent fishing can be found very close to town, depending on
water conditions and season. Lake trout fishing will see us on
Clearwater Bay or Whitefish Bay, close to the town of Sioux Narrows.
Our boat caught and released a 30 pound lake trout last year,
and we are also offering day trips into a large, isolated lake
accessible by 4 wheel drive, as a new adventure, this year.
World
Class Multi Species Fishing
Walleye fishing is excellent almost anywhere, and the same goes
for the smallmouth bass fishing. June is great for bass fishing,
but the action often picks up into the summer months, with great
top water action in July and August..Bass fishing also will see
you catch multi species throughout the day, with bonus walleye,
northern and occasionally muskie being hooked.
